Minnesota Animals Puzzle

Step into Minnesota’s great outdoors with this lively puzzle featuring animals big and small. The largest animal in Minnesota, the moose with their calves, share the scene with the tiniest woodland families, all captured in a way that celebrates the state’s wildlife with charm and whimsy.

Out on the lake, the loon — Minnesota’s official state bird — floats proudly with its chick riding on its back, a favorite sight in northern waters. An otter mom cradles her baby on her tummy, fox kits peek playfully from the forest edge, and a deer family roams quietly through the trees. The hand-drawn artistic style gives each animal a personality all its own.

With its mix of lakes, woods, and prairies, this colorful puzzle celebrates Minnesota’s beloved critters in their habitat. Designed by puzzlers for puzzlers, each puzzle is made in the USA with high-quality materials, custom artwork, and thoughtful details that make every piece fit just right. A heartfelt tribute to Minnesota’s wild creatures — and a delightful challenge for puzzlers of all ages!

Hi! I’m Melanie Rice,  a graphic designer based in the northwoods of Minnesota with over 20 years of experience in the creative world. While I offer a variety of design services, my main focus is on logo design and vector tracing—clean, crisp, and built to last. I don’t take on just any project; I like to work with people and brands that I truly connect with.

These days, my biggest passion is designing puzzles. Not your everyday puzzles, though—these are full of Minnesota charm, featuring whimsical hand-drawn illustrations that highlight the beauty, quirks, and spirit of this great state. You’ll find them in local shops around Minnesota, and they’re also available for wholesale if you’re looking to stock something unique and local.
